Girl Guides History
October 23/1913 First troop of Girl Guides was formed and registered as Co. No 1 Princeton Guides. A Captain, two Lieutenants and 18 members.
In 1954 Co. No 1 Princeton Guide troops raised money through community paper drives and selling the same Girl Guide Cookies we all enjoy to this day. The troop won second prize in an all Canadian contest and received a prize of $250.00.
Girl Guides and Brownies continued in Princeton under the leadership of many volunteers willing to give of their time until the year 2000.

Come visit the Museum and immerse yourself in Princeton's history. We have several plaques of Princeton in the 1900's - Churches, buildings that have burnt down, main street, a train derailement and more. They are amazing to see in person.
